- Orcs and Trolls are no longer held at the Den waiting for level 3 to take Lazy Peons: Foreman Thazz'ril gives it on the return to the Den, once the valley's turn-ins have brought you to level 3; you wake the peons sleeping around the Den and the lumber piles, then take Thazz'ril's Pick with you to the Burning Blade Coven. The same fix for two other quests the route offered just before their level: The Red Crystal for Night Elves (now on the next Auberdine stop) and Beren's Peril in Silverpine (now on the later Sepulcher stop, before its loop).
- The arrow gives you room again. It points down the road instead of swinging at every bend (bends up to 20 yards to the side count as the road), lets you walk up to 15 yards beside the path with the arrow pointing along it, and, outdoors, lets you join a road at an angle instead of sending you to the exact spot where the path meets it. Real corners, doorways, bridges and switchbacks still turn it at the corner.
- The Polestar emblem in the main menu looks like the app icon now: a bolder star and ring with its bright center and a soft glow.
- French: the guides' texts are translated (9,493 of 9,934; the rest are texts new in 0.3.1): steps, tips, notes and route choices of the leveling, class, profession, reputation and collectible guides. Thanks Yendi.
- French: the whole interface is translated (503 strings and the RecorderThe optional Polestar_Recorder addon that records play (off on its own; on while Polestar Client shares, which it does by default; RECORDING.md); forge record import (this PC) and forge record pull (the recording server) turn its chunks into data/recordings.'s 10), and the welcome's sample goalOne thing to do in a step, as a verb and its arguments (accept 783, kill, goto, turnin...). and the class card's quest giver name the NPC or item in French. Thanks Yendi.
- German: the 157 texts new in 0.3.0 are translated (bag space and junk, Restock, class quest cards, the guideOne route, written as a .guide file and compiled to Lua; its id reads like forever/alliance/human/01-elwynn-forest.'s hand-in warnings and more), so the German interface is complete again (thanks Cortexyn).
- German: the Cozy Sleeping Bag's stepOne stop in a guide: a title, optional conditions and tip, and at least one goal. names Honor's Stand by the client's German name, Ehrenwacht (thanks Cortexyn).
- The end of a leveling guide is no longer silent: when you finish its last step, a window says you completed it (or reached its end, and how many steps you left undone) and offers the next guide, the zones to choose from, or the guide menu. Stay instead and the guide window keeps a "Start <next>" link at the top. It asks once per guide per character. The old option "Continue to the next guide" is now "When a leveling guide ends": "Ask me" (the window) or "Continue automatically" (the next guide loads by itself and the guide window says so). Everyone starts on "Ask me", also if you had the old option on: pick "Continue automatically" in Options → Guide → Automation to keep the old way.
- One Barrens guide for every Horde race: the Orc and Troll arrival steps (the Crossroads, Thun'grim, the Shaman's fire totem, Ratchet) open "The Barrens (12-16)" for Orcs and Trolls only, instead of a separate guide with the same name; Durotar hands over to it directly. Guide names leave out capitals and zones you only pass through (Silverpine Forest, Arathi Highlands & Badlands, Winterspring and more).
- Talent plans are paused for now: the Talents page says "Coming soon", and Polestar no longer marks the game's talent frame, adds plan lines to talent tooltips or reminds you of unspent points. The plans weren't ready to recommend picks yet; they'll come back once they are. Gear advice still follows the talents you've chosen.
- Quests are handed in where you finish them instead of on a later trip back: Sarkoth at Hana'zua as soon as he's dead, before the Vile Familiars (Orcs and Trolls), Crossroads Conscription to Sergra as you arrive at the Crossroads (Orcs and Trolls), MacKreel's Moonshine on the first Southshore stop, Fiery Menace! and Curse These Fat Fingers at Thorium Point, A Strange Historian and A Matter of Time to Chromie right after the Andorhal towers, Gahz'ridian on the way past Marvon, and Duke Nicholas Zverenhoff on the first Light's Hope stop.
