Polestar is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 (LICENSE (opens in a new tab)), with this additional permission:

Additional permission under GNU GPL version 3 section 7: as a special exception, the copyright holders of Polestar give you permission to distribute guide packs produced by Polestar's compiler, and import strings produced by Polestar's tools, including the parts of Polestar's reference data that the compiler or those tools place in them, under terms of your choice. This permission does not cover guide text copied from Polestar's own guides, or Polestar's code.
