Community Guidelines
What belongs in community guides and comments, and what gets removed.
In short
- Write guides that help players: accurate, honest about what they cover, and credited.
- Be decent in comments. Disagree with a route, not a person.
- We remove illegal content, malware, spam, harassment, impersonation and content that isn’t yours to share.
- Report anything that breaks these guidelines from its page; a moderator reviews every report.
1. Guides
Describe a guide truthfully: its title, summary, levels and faction should match what is inside. Don’t publish near-copies of a guide to crowd the catalogue, or use tags and titles that mislead.
2. Comments
Keep comments about the guide. No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing or sexual content; no spam, advertising or links that trick people.
3. What gets removed
Content that is illegal where our users are; malware or attempts to run code; copyright or trademark infringement; personal data about others; impersonation of a person, a creator or Polestar; spam and manipulation of stars or installs; and content that breaks the Content & Licensing Policy.
4. What we do
Depending on the case, a moderator may take no action, warn, hide a guide or comment, remove it, hold a build, or suspend an account for a time or for good. Every decision comes with a statement of reasons in your notifications, and you can appeal it.
5. Reporting
Use Report on a guide or a comment. If a guide copies your work, send a copyright notice with the form in Copyright & takedowns; no account is needed. For other illegal content, you can also write to [email protected] (Copyright & takedowns explains what to include).
