Polestar is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. Every guide here ships inside the addon: in game, `/polestar guides` opens the guide menu, and the guide window shows the steps with a waypoint arrow.

## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. Duke Hydraxis

Where: 79.3, 73.7 on the Azshara map.

Duke Hydraxis stands on a small island off the eastern coast of Azshara; swim or walk the shallows out to him. The Hydraxian Waterlords start out Neutral. Forever's Legacy Diplomat perk increases reputation gains.

- Accept **Poisoned Water** from Duke Hydraxis
- Accept **Stormers and Rumblers** from Duke Hydraxis

### 2. Dust Stormers and Desert Rumblers

Both elementals roam north-western Silithus; the Rumblers cluster a little further north.

- Kill **Dust Stormer** ×15 for Stormers and Rumblers
- Kill **Desert Rumbler** ×15 for Stormers and Rumblers

### 3. Poisoned Water

Use the Aspect of Neptulon on the poisoned water elementals of Eastern Plaguelands, then loot their Discordant Bracers (12).

- Kill **Blighted Surge** or **Plague Ravager** for **Discordant Bracers** ×12 for Poisoned Water

### 4. Back to Duke Hydraxis

Where: 79.3, 73.7 on the Azshara map.

- Turn in **Poisoned Water** at Duke Hydraxis
- Turn in **Stormers and Rumblers** at Duke Hydraxis
- Accept **Eye of the Emberseer** from Duke Hydraxis

### 5. Eye of the Emberseer

Where: 79.3, 73.7 on the Azshara map.

Pyroguard Emberseer in Upper Blackrock Spire drops the Eye of the Emberseer. This needs a raid group.

- Complete **Eye of the Emberseer**
- Turn in **Eye of the Emberseer** at Duke Hydraxis
- Accept **The Molten Core** from Duke Hydraxis

### 6. The Molten Core

Where: 79.3, 73.7 on the Azshara map.

Kill a Firelord, a Molten Giant, an Ancient Core Hound and a Lava Surger in the Molten Core. Every Molten Core elemental and boss also counts toward the Waterlords.

- Complete **The Molten Core**
- Turn in **The Molten Core** at Duke Hydraxis
- Reach Friendly with **Hydraxian Waterlords**

### 7. Agent of Hydraxis

Where: 79.3, 73.7 on the Azshara map.

Agent of Hydraxis needs Honored. At Honored, Duke Hydraxis hands out Aqual Quintessence, used to douse the runes in the Molten Core that summon Majordomo Executus; at Revered, the reusable Eternal Quintessence.

- Accept **Agent of Hydraxis** from Duke Hydraxis
- Reach Honored with **Hydraxian Waterlords**
- Turn in **Agent of Hydraxis** at Duke Hydraxis
- Accept **Hands of the Enemy** from Duke Hydraxis

### 8. Hands of the Enemy

Where: 79.3, 73.7 on the Azshara map.

Bring the Hands of Lucifron, Gehennas, Shazzrah and Sulfuron from the Molten Core.

- Complete **Hands of the Enemy**
- Turn in **Hands of the Enemy** at Duke Hydraxis

### 9. Hydraxian Waterlords to Revered

Molten Core clears carry the rest. Bosses always count; in Classic, trash kills stop giving Waterlords reputation partway up, so late on the bosses do the work.

- Reach Revered with **Hydraxian Waterlords**

### 10. Hydraxian Waterlords to Exalted

Keep clearing the Molten Core until Exalted.

- Reach Exalted with **Hydraxian Waterlords**
