Polestar is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. Every guide here ships inside the addon: in game, `/polestar guides` opens the guide menu, and the guide window shows the steps with a waypoint arrow.

## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. Learn to ride

Galestriders need level 40 and Riding (Galestrider Riding comes with it in the Forever client). Any riding trainer of your faction teaches it; see the Level 40 mount guides for where.

- Reach level **40**
- Raise **Riding** to 75

### 2. Skyboat from Dalaran (Alliance only)

Zephras Isle is the Skyborne starting island; anyone may visit. A skyboat leaves the north side of Dalaran about every five minutes (another flies from north of Thunder Bluff; either faction may take either). Skip this if you are already on the island.

- Go to **Skyboat to Zephras Isle** Alterac Mountains

### 3. Skyboat from Thunder Bluff (Horde only)

Zephras Isle is the Skyborne starting island; anyone may visit. A skyboat leaves the cliffs south of Skywatcher Plateau, north of Thunder Bluff, about every five minutes (another flies from Dalaran; either faction may take either). Skip this if you are already on the island.

- Go to **Skyboat to Zephras Isle** Mulgore

### 4. Genn Fairweather

Where: 53.8, 81.2 on the Zephras Isle map.

Genn Fairweather is in Valanaar, the island's harbour town, near the skyboat docks. The Forever client lists each Galestrider at 20g; choose one.

- Sell and repair at **Genn Fairweather**
- Buy **Empyrean Galestrider** from Genn Fairweather (optional) — 20g
- Buy **Stormy Galestrider** from Genn Fairweather (optional) — 20g
- Buy **Umber Galestrider** from Genn Fairweather (optional) — 20g
