Polestar is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. Every guide here ships inside the addon: in game, `/polestar guides` opens the guide menu, and the guide window shows the steps with a waypoint arrow.

## At a glance

- Category: Collectibles; in game: Collectibles > Mounts · Drops > Deathcharger
- Levels: 58–60
- For: Both factions
- Zones: Eastern Plaguelands
- 2 steps, 0 quests; some steps want a group
- Last changed 2026-10-14, in Polestar 0.2.4

## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. Journeyman Riding

Deathcharger's Reins needs level 60 and Journeyman Riding to ride (Forever client). Train it at your race's riding trainer; see the Level 60 mount guides.

- Reach level **60**
- Raise **Riding** to 150

### 2. Stratholme: Baron Rivendare

Where: 35.7, 12.2 on the Eastern Plaguelands map.

Stratholme is a group of five, level 58–60. The Service Entrance at Elders' Square, in north-western Eastern Plaguelands, leads to the undead side; Baron Rivendare waits in the Slaughter House at its end. Our data gives the reins a 0.02% drop chance (pfQuest, Era): one in about five thousand kills. Nothing shows Forever changing it.

- Go to **Stratholme Service Entrance** Eastern Plaguelands
- Collect **Deathcharger's Reins** — Baron Rivendare
