Polestar is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. Every guide here ships inside the addon: in game, `/polestar guides` opens the guide menu, and the guide window shows the steps with a waypoint arrow.

## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. Journeyman Riding

Where: 55.3, 75.5 on the Durotar map.

Xar'Ti and Zjolnir's raptors are in Sen'jin Village on the Durotar coast. At 60 Xar'Ti teaches Journeyman Riding (1,000g per Blizzard's designers); Blizzard says learning riding grants a mount. The Forever client sells each swift raptor for 200g at level 60.

- Reach level **60**
- Train at **Xar'Ti** — Xar'Ti, riding trainer
- Raise **Riding** to 150

### 2. Pick a colour

Where: 55.2, 75.7 on the Durotar map.

Zjolnir sells the other colours (200g each in the Forever client). Buy any you want, or none if the mount you were given is the one you like.

- Sell and repair at **Zjolnir**
- Buy **Swift Blue Raptor** from Zjolnir (optional) — Swift Blue Raptor, 200g
- Buy **Swift Olive Raptor** from Zjolnir (optional) — Swift Olive Raptor, 200g
- Buy **Swift Orange Raptor** from Zjolnir (optional) — Swift Orange Raptor, 200g
- Whistle of the Venomhide Ravasaur (level 60) is in the Forever client, but its source is not known yet.
