Polestar is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. Every guide here ships inside the addon: in game, `/polestar guides` opens the guide menu, and the guide window shows the steps with a waypoint arrow.

## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. Learn to ride

Where: 46.8, 62 on the Mulgore map.

Kar Stormsinger and Harb Clawhoof's kodos are in Bloodhoof Village, Mulgore. At 40 Kar Stormsinger teaches Riding (100g per Blizzard's designers), and learning it gives you a mount. The Forever client lets every Horde race ride these.

- Reach level **40**
- Train at **Kar Stormsinger** — Kar Stormsinger, riding trainer
- Raise **Riding** to 75

### 2. Pick a colour

Where: 46.6, 62.1 on the Mulgore map.

Harb Clawhoof sells the other colours (20g each in the Forever client). Buy any you want, or none if the mount you were given is the one you like.

- Sell and repair at **Harb Clawhoof**
- Buy **Gray Kodo** from Harb Clawhoof (optional) — Gray Kodo, 20g
- Buy **Brown Kodo** from Harb Clawhoof (optional) — Brown Kodo, 20g
- White Kodo and Lavender Kodo are new Forever kodos (level 40, 20g in the client) whose source is not known yet.
