Polestar is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. Every guide here ships inside the addon: in game, `/polestar guides` opens the guide menu, and the guide window shows the steps with a waypoint arrow.

## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. Learn to ride

Where: 38.7, 15.8 on the Darnassus map.

Jartsam and Lelanai's sabers are in the Cenarion Enclave's riding grounds in Darnassus. At 40 Jartsam teaches Riding (100g per Blizzard's designers), and learning it gives you a mount. The Forever client lets every Alliance race ride these.

- Reach level **40**
- Train at **Jartsam** — Jartsam, riding trainer
- Raise **Riding** to 75

### 2. Pick a colour

Where: 38.3, 15.4 on the Darnassus map.

Lelanai sells the other colours (20g each in the Forever client). Buy any you want, or none if the mount you were given is the one you like.

- Sell and repair at **Lelanai**
- Buy **Reins of the Striped Nightsaber** from Lelanai (optional) — Reins of the Striped Nightsaber, 20g
- Buy **Reins of the Striped Frostsaber** from Lelanai (optional) — Reins of the Striped Frostsaber, 20g
- Buy **Reins of the Spotted Frostsaber** from Lelanai (optional) — Reins of the Spotted Frostsaber, 20g
- Reins of the Striped Dawnsaber is a new Forever saber (level 40, 20g in the client) whose source is not known yet.
