## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. Devourer of Souls (Orgrimmar)

Where: 48.2, 45.3 on the Orgrimmar map.

At 20 Gan'rul Bloodeye, in the Cleft of Shadow under the Valley of Strength, sends you to Cazul a few steps away. Two trainers offer the incubus, Gan'rul here and Carendin Halgar in the Undercity, and you can take only one: this guide follows whichever Devourer of Souls you took.

- Reach level **20**
- Accept **Devourer of Souls** from Gan'rul Bloodeye
- Turn in **Devourer of Souls** at Cazul
- Accept **Love Hurts** from Cazul

### 2. Magar

Where: 63.7, 49.9 on the Orgrimmar map.

Magar keeps Magar's Cloth Goods, east of the Cleft of Shadow along the main street. He asks you to look for his mate, Krilge.

- Turn in **Love Hurts** at Magar
- Accept **Wish You Were Here** from Magar

### 3. Fallen Sky Lake

Fallen Sky Lake lies in southern Ashenvale, south of Splintertree Post. The Shadethicket bog beasts around the lake drop the Withered Scarf, about one in twenty.

- Collect **Withered Scarf** for Wish You Were Here

### 4. The Binding (Orgrimmar)

Where: 48.2, 45.3 on the Orgrimmar map.

Back to Gan'rul in the Cleft of Shadow. Take the scarf to the summoning circle in Neeru Fireblade's tent nearby and defeat the incubus it calls.

- Turn in **Wish You Were Here** at Gan'rul Bloodeye
- Accept **The Binding** from Gan'rul Bloodeye
- Kill **Summoned Incubus** for The Binding
- Turn in **The Binding** at Gan'rul Bloodeye — Gan'rul Bloodeye: he binds the incubus to you

### 5. Devourer of Souls (Undercity)

The Undercity's version, for warlocks who took Carendin Halgar's Devourer of Souls instead of Gan'rul's. At 20 Carendin, in the Magic Quarter, sends you to Godrick Farsan in the Temple of the Damned, just north of him.

- Reach level **20**
- Accept **Devourer of Souls** from Carendin Halgar
- Turn in **Devourer of Souls** at Godrick Farsan
- Accept **Hearts of the Lovers** from Godrick Farsan

### 6. Avelina Lilly

Avelina Lilly works as a tailor for the Dalaran wizards at Ambermill, in eastern Silverpine Forest. Take her heart.

- Kill **Avelina Lilly** for **Avelina's Heart** for Hearts of the Lovers

### 7. Isaac Pearson

Isaac Pearson works in Ratchet, on the Barrens coast. Take the zeppelin to Durotar and walk or fly on to Ratchet.

- Kill **Isaac Pearson** for **Isaac's Heart** for Hearts of the Lovers

### 8. The Binding (Undercity)

Back to Carendin in the Magic Quarter. Place the hearts at the summoning circle below him and defeat the incubus they call.

- Turn in **Hearts of the Lovers** at Carendin Halgar
- Accept **The Binding** from Carendin Halgar
- Kill **Summoned Incubus** for The Binding
- Turn in **The Binding** at Carendin Halgar — Carendin Halgar: he binds the incubus to you
