## Steps

The steps as the guide window shows them, in order. Goals marked with a race or class are only for that race or class.

### 1. The Eye of Shadow

You need The Eye of Divinity first: it comes from the Cache of the Firelord after Majordomo Executus in Molten Core. The Eye of Shadow drops from elite demons (Lord Kazzak, a world boss, always; Doomguard Commanders and Manahounds rarely); it binds when equipped, so buying one works too.

- Kill **Lord Kazzak** for **The Eye of Shadow**

### 2. Eris Havenfire

Where: 17.2, 12.8 on the Eastern Plaguelands map.

Equip The Eye of Divinity to see Eris Havenfire, a ghost on the mountainside in the north-west of the Eastern Plaguelands. Come with full mana, Major Mana Potions and Oil of Immolation: if you fail, the event takes about two hours to return.

- Reach level **60**
- Accept **A Warning** from Eris Havenfire
- Turn in **A Warning** at Eris Havenfire
- Accept **The Balance of Light and Shadow** from Eris Havenfire

### 3. The Balance of Light and Shadow

Save 50 peasants before 15 die. Kill the skeletons that attack them, cure their diseases (the purple ones first) and heal the wounded with Renew. Friends may buff you beforehand but must stay out of the fight, or a demon appears and kills everyone.

- Complete **The Balance of Light and Shadow**

### 4. Benediction

Where: 17.2, 12.8 on the Eastern Plaguelands map.

- Turn in **The Balance of Light and Shadow** at Eris Havenfire — Eris Havenfire: Splinter of Nordrassil
- Use **Splinter of Nordrassil** — With both Eyes in your bags: Benediction
