# Slash commands

> Every /polestar command and its help line, from the addon’s command registry.

Polestar's slash commands, as the addon registers them, with the help line `/polestar help` prints for each. `/pole` works wherever `/polestar` does, and `/polestar` on its own shows or hides the guide window. With the gamepad interface on, the game's chat box cannot run addon commands safely, so Polestar registers none: the key bindings and the minimap button open everything instead.
