# Agent workflows

> The skills a contributor’s AI agent follows: contributing, triaging a report, and fixing a guide step.

Polestar ships the instructions its contributors' AI agents follow, as skills in [`skills/`](https://github.com/fitzforge/polestar/tree/next/skills). They are written for agents, and read as plain checklists for anyone: what to check before agreeing a report is a bug, how a guide fix reaches a pull request, and the lines a change must not cross.

- [Contributing (agent)](https://polestar.guide/docs/contributors/workflows/contributing): branches, generated files, changelog fragments and tests.
- [Triaging a report](https://polestar.guide/docs/contributors/workflows/triage): read, rule out, reproduce, then give a verdict.
- [Fixing a guide step](https://polestar.guide/docs/contributors/workflows/guide-fix): from a confirmed wrong step to a pull request.
- [Writing guides with an AI agent](https://polestar.guide/docs/authors/agent-workflow): the skill for a community guide's author.
